1. Who we are
Halcyon Motors & Moto Trading Corp. ("Halcyon Motors", "we", "us") operates a car and motorcycle dealership at 2288 EDSA corner Amber Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila 1605, Philippines. We are the personal information controller for the data described in this policy, in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.
2. What we collect
We keep it minimal. We may collect:
- Contact details you give us when you call, visit, or reserve a unit: name, phone number, and email address.
- Transaction documents needed to sell or register a vehicle: a copy of your government ID, driver license, proof of income, and proof of billing.
- Basic website data such as the pages you visit and your device type. Our website does not use advertising trackers and does not sell data to anyone.
3. Why we collect it
- To answer your questions and schedule viewings or test drives.
- To process a sale, a trade-in, financing applications, and LTO registration.
- To honor warranties and send you updates about your transaction.
- To follow laws that apply to vehicle dealers in the Philippines.
4. Who we share it with
Only the parties needed to complete your transaction: banks and financing partners you choose, insurance providers you choose, and government offices such as the LTO. We never sell or rent your personal information. Our service providers must protect your data under written agreements.
5. How long we keep it
Transaction records are kept for ten (10) years to meet tax and legal requirements. Simple inquiries are deleted within one (1) year if you do not become a customer.
6. How we protect it
Paper documents stay in locked storage inside our office. Digital records are stored on encrypted systems with access limited to authorized staff. Our website is served over HTTPS.
7. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you may ask us to show, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You may also withdraw consent or complain to the National Privacy Commission. 8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Big changes will be posted in our showroom too.
